There are many imitation TRX products out there in the market selling as low as US$20 to US$100. They don’t work well and are dangerous. A lot of the TRX exercises will involve you being suspended in the air, on the TRX. Imagine the buckles snapping and straps slipping. You don’t want to get injured.

You can check if it’s original or not in a few ways:
1) The triggers on the cam buckles on an imitation are easy to press. For original, it’s much harder. (Hence can take our bodyweight)
2) The imitation ones have a waterproof fold-out fitness guide while the original one comes with a mini booklet with photos and instructions for each exercise.
3) The imitation ones comes with a door anchor in the package. We’d have to purchase separately for the original ones.
We’d strongly discourage you not to purchase the imitation ones as they’re known for the straps to slip as the buckles are not strong enough to take our body weight.
